Our Platform Beds employ a unique dual height slat kit and bed frame support system that eliminates the need for a foundation. Atlantic Furniture Platform Beds can be set in a high position to be used with a mattress only, or a low setting to accommodate for a mattress and foundation set. With both height settings and the unique dual-height slat kit, these beds are truly the most versatile beds on the market.

Atlantic Furniture Traditional Beds include three to four foundation support boards which support the mattress and foundation. Choose from our entire line of solid hardwood headboards, footboards, and bed frames to find the look that best suits your room.

Have your pick of storage options with the Newport Bookcase Bed. The headboard comes equipped with two shelves and dual raised panel cabinets with easy-to-close metal hinges while under-bed storage drawers provide extra space. Each bed comes with one set of two underbed drawers. Still need more storage These beds can accommodate up to four drawers with additional sets sold separately.

KatNYC: Making IKEA look good by comparison

Be warned You are not buying a bed frame, you are buying five boxes of boards and a huge bag of screws. This was very challenging to assemble, and the instructions must have been written by someone who couldn't get a job writing instructions for IKEA.
