Customer reviewsGreat Item with Issues
This light is ideal for our dining room. As you can see in the picture, we chose to might it close to the ceiling, not using the chain option which would lower the light. This is a difficult and complex light to assemble and mount. If you hire an electrician to assemble and install the light, expect a large bill because it takes hours to assemble. There are over 200 glass crystal like pieces to install using staple like pieces of wire. Once the light is assembled you have to hang it and it takes at least 2 people on ladders because it is quite heavy. All 6 light sockets have to be wired together and then connected to the house power wires in the ceiling. I tried using large wire nuts but gave up and soldered the six socket wires together with a pigtail that then connected to the house wires. Overall it looks and works great and my wife is very pleased. Just be aware that it certainly is a complex project to undertake.
