Not many people know that the “Stained Glass” is an artistic creation. Artists are adding colors to the liquid glass creating unique designs. They will repeat the procedure respecting the quantity of colors added but being made manually, they cannot make perfect copies. It's almost like making a painting copy. It happens very often for 2 lamps same model to not look perfect identical. I slight difference in color or even in the size of the shade, a little error is making your lamp UNIQUE
The Stained Glass lamps are artistic creations made entirely by hand. After the glass was cut carefully, then sanded on all the edges, the pieces of glass are wrapped in very fine copper foil. Louis Comfort Tiffany invented the technique for soldering together the pieces of glass and the Tiffany Style lamps today are made using his technique.

He is the American artist most associated with the Art Nouveau and Aesthetic movements. In this picture the pieces of Stained Glass are put together in the mold.

The glow is entrancing.....Absolutely gorgeous The huge red roses and the smaller greens and pale blue leaves and petals toward the top of the shade are divine The lamp puts off such a warm glow with only one bulb on I haven't tried 2 bulbs at the same time because the glow leaves me so entranced I forget about the 2nd chain. I have several Tiffany style lamps and as in other reviews I've left the Amora pull chain is smoother and leads me to believe higher quality. I cannot imagine anyone would be disappointed with this lamp.
