This unit is not for actual use. The headboard broke in two places during assembly - while I was repositioning it. When mounting on the bed frame, only only one attachment point per side was available for use - the others did not line up. This creates an unstable situation. I am glad I am using this in a guest room that will not be used very often. I will try to find something more sturdy in the future. A solution might be to mount it to the wall instead of the bed frame.
