I was very nervous about spending this much money without seeing the table in person. After many exhausting shopping trips to retailers I was never able to find a 'table height' table that opened to a square that seats 8. This table is exactly what I was looking for so I took the gamble. So glad I did. This table is very sturdy, well built and very pretty. I love the self storing leaf It was easy to put together and came without damage. It was delivered on a shrink wrapped pallet with many well packed boxes. Now, all my adult children and their spouses have a seat at the table. :
